I ordered a jacket from Filson and was a little unsure about the sizing since I’m often between sizes. Luckily, the size chart was accurate. The sleeves hit right, the shoulders felt good, and I could still wear a hoodie underneath without it feeling tight. Maybe it’s not absolutely perfect-perfect, but it’s close enough that I’m happy and definitely not sending it back. It matched what I expected, so I’d give it 5 stars.

I’ve always liked the quality of Filson stuff. Everything I’ve bought feels well-made and like it’ll last forever, which I appreciate. That said, the prices can be steep, and paying full price is tough for me to justify. I usually wait for a sale because then it feels a lot more reasonable. Weirdly, I still remember the first time I tried on one of their jackets because there was this tiny brass zipper pull that felt ridiculously solid, like something from an old toolbox. Nice gear, just not always easy on the wallet.

I like this jacket overall. It feels solid and really well made, so I don’t have any complaints about the quality. I don’t know why, but I expected it to be a little easier to wear every day. After a few hours, the weight starts to get kind of annoying. It’s not a bad jacket at all, I just wish it was lighter, especially for the price.

I was able to find what I needed in the end, but the whole site felt a little clunky. The menus were slower than expected, and reading between the lines, it feels like the basics are there but the user experience could use some cleanup.

I ordered my tin cloth jacket from Filson and it showed up fast. At first, I wasn’t sure I liked it at all, the thing felt stiff as cardboard and I was convinced I’d picked the wrong size. But also, it somehow still felt like a solid jacket right out of the box, if that makes sense. After wearing it around the yard and taking it on walks for a couple weeks, it started breaking in really nicely. Now it feels like it actually belongs to me. It’s tough, warm, already looks better with some wear, and even though I kind of hated it the first few days, I’d definitely buy it again. 5 stars.

So... I ordered from Filson and the shipping cost was reasonable, not one of those ridiculous surprise add-ons you sometimes see at checkout. The package showed up without any issues too. Overall, happy with the experience.

I noticed some of the items don’t say where they’re made, and that makes me a little uneasy. I like to know what I’m buying, and when that information is missing, I start wondering if I’m being misled or if there’s a reason they’re not showing it. It would be a lot more reassuring if the country of origin was clearly listed on everything.

The photos made the color look a lot lighter, but when it arrived it was noticeably darker than I expected. The quality itself is decent, so I’m not totally unhappy with it, but I do feel a little brushed off because the pictures don’t really show the true color clearly. I just wish it had been more accurate before I ordered.

It’s kind of hard to describe, but the storage just didn’t feel very useful in everyday use. There’s technically some space, but not enough of it was practical for what I needed.

I sent in my old Filson bag to get fixed i wasn’t sure what to expect, but they turned it around fast. The stitching looks really solid, like it’s not going anywhere, and the bag just feels ready for a lot more use now. Kind of nice when something you’ve had forever gets repaired instead of replaced.
